Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Zagora Desert
Your desert adventure begins at 7:30 AM with pickup from your Marrakech accommodation. We'll cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m), winding through the High Atlas Mountains with breathtaking views at every turn. Stop at panoramic viewpoints to capture photos of the rugged mountain landscapes.
Our first major stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco's most famous kasbah and a backdrop for countless Hollywood films. Enjoy a guided tour through this ancient fortified village with its traditional mud-brick architecture. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we continue through the Draa Valley, following the ancient caravan route lined with millions of date palms. In the late afternoon, meet your camel caravan for a 1.5-hour trek into the dunes of Tinfou. Watch the sunset paint the desert gold before arriving at your luxury desert camp where a traditional Berber dinner and music await.
Zagora Sunrise - Draa Valley - Marrakech
Rise early to witness one of life's most beautiful spectacles - sunrise over the Sahara. The changing colors of the dunes as the sun emerges from the horizon create an unforgettable moment. After a traditional breakfast at camp, mount your camel for the return journey to Zagora.
Our return route takes us back through the Draa Valley with a stop at the ancient library of Tamgrout, home to centuries-old Islamic manuscripts. We'll pause in Ouarzazate for lunch and a photo stop at the Atlas Film Studios, where blockbusters like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. The final leg takes us back across the High Atlas to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening.

Stops along each day's route are fully flexible — you can stop for photos, visit villages, or drive straight through. However, changing the daily routes themselves (e.g. skipping a city or adding a destination) requires a request for confirmation and updated pricing.
